What should be done if the footwear gets wet?

If the footwear gets wet, stuff it with absorbing paper or cloth leave it for few hours. It may then be dried under a fan or be sun dried. 



To what extent is the footwear ‘handcrafted’?

The footwear is individually handcrafted using hand tools using the traditional method. Some times, a foot pedal operated manual stitching machine, used to stitch the intricate uppers, is just about the only machine used - that too run by human power! Templates are used to achieve standardisation. A small pneumatic press would be used with cutting templates to cut sole shapes when large orders are to be executed.
